In the article, Sløk states that while the most common age group in the US is 33—in China it is 54, and in Korea it is 53. To be more specific, 3.6% of the US population is 30-39 years old, which is the highest percentage, according to PP. The second highest percentage is 3.4%, and each of the following age groups falls in this category.

15-19 year olds (3.4%)

20-24 year olds (3.4%)

25-29 year olds (3.4%)

40-44 year olds (3.4%)

Following suit, from largest to smallest:

45-49 year olds (3.2%)

60-64 year olds (3.1%)

10-14 year olds (3.1%)

50-59 year olds (3%)

5-9 year olds (2.9%)
