(“The Futurist NYC", "we", "our", or "us")

The Futurist NYC will from time to time will make updates to these Terms of Sales and post them here for you ("you" means you as an individual user.)
This document deals with purchases, and other interactions besides purchases, that you may have with us, including subscriptions of digital products and services and one-time purchases. These include but not exclude those available on its website The Future.NYC, and with its brands TF, The Prediction Paper, and the Future Ideas of the Year.
There may be other terms and conditions with purchases and interacting with these products when you have a subscription or have access to our services through your employer or another corporation or institution.

All subscriptions are non-transferrable and cannot be resold.
By using The Futurist NYC services, subscriptions and products ("services") you are agreeing to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
GENERAL TERMS
The Futurist NYC is offering free access to its products and services on its website The Future.NYC for a limited time beginning in August 2025. After September 1st 2025, The Futurist NYC will no longer provide free access to all areas on The Future.NYC but will provide limited access to non-subscribers. To review our individual subscriptions services available during our relaunch, please see our pricing plans.
Subscribers
As a subscriber, only one person may use the email address and password associated with a digital product services account.
The Futurist NYC accepts major credit cards PayPal and other payment methods and may add payment method options as needed.
By providing payment information to The Futurist NYC, you agree that the payment information is valid, and we reserve the right to reject any order or purchase at any time.
In signing up for a subscription, service or product you agree to pay us all charges at the prices then in effect for that subscription or product in accordance with applicable payment terms.
If for some reason your payment is revoked, access to corresponding subscriptions and products may be terminated. If you believe access was terminated in error, please contact us so that we can help rectify the matter.
If you cancel your subscription, you are not entitled to receive any refund for the time remaining in your subscription period. All charges are nonrefundable and one-time purchases cannot be canceled or refunded.
For details about your purchases, including payment methods and subscriptions periods, please access your membership account.
If you believe someone else has access to your account or you are being charged for a product you do not have, please contact us.
Since The Futurist NYC is providing free access to its products and services during its relaunch—it is not yet offering customary programs and promotions. These include but not exclude: Free-trials, pro subscriptions, multi-year subscriptions, gift subscriptions, promotional rates, referral programs or purchases through a third-party bundle during our beta launch. At such time that we add these offers, we will update our terms and conditions.

The Futurist NYC is hosted on the Wix.com platform and uses Wix Payment. Wix Payments is an integrated payment processing system that allows businesses to accept online payments directly through their websites. The Processing Services provided by Wix Payments are Adyen N.V., by Stripe Inc., or by Pay Pal Inc., their affiliates, and the acquiring banks. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) standards, ensuring secure handling of credit card information.
By signing up for a subscription from The Futurist NYC.com, you agree to pay us through Wix Payment, and you authorize us to allow Wix Partners to charge your payment provider, for example a credit card or debit card.
The Futurist NYC does not endorse, verify or monitor third party payment processors nor the payment partners or infrastructure providers that Wix Payments utilizes to process transactions. We are not providing any representations or warranties regarding the service provided by Wix Payments or its payment partners or infrastructure providers that Wix Payments utilizes to process transactions. The Futurist NYC reserves the right to correct any mistakes or errors made by Wix Payments or its payment partners or infrastructure providers that Wix Payments utilizes to process transactions.
Wix participates in credit card account update services and can receive notifications from banks about changes to credit card expiration dates from your credit card issuer. Contact your credit card issuer regarding your right to opt out of updated services. The Futurist NYC is not responsible for updating your credit card information. If you need to update your payment method in order to prevent interruption to our services, please access your membership account.
You are not charged by Wix when you subscribe to any of our products and services on The Futurist NYC.com. Wix charges The Futurist NYC a processing fee on each product and service sold. This processing fee is based on the total transaction amount which means the price of the product + taxes + shipping where applicable. This fee is automatically deducted at sale. Please note: It is more beneficial for The Futurist NYC if you subscribe or purchase an item using a credit or debit card (excl. American Express.)
The Futurist NYC will from time to time offer promotions and discounts to our services. When you purchase a service, the price will be indicated, taxes if applicable will be indicated and billing frequency will be indicated. No discounts can be applied retroactively. All prices will be listed in USD and/or another currency that will be made clear during the order process. Your subscription may or may not include access to all areas of the digital product dependent upon your subscription plan or membership.
The Futurist NYC reserves the right to modify the content, type and availability of any digital product. The Futurist NYC may change subscription terms or fees at any time, and decide to add, remove or modify benefits and features on a temporary or permanent basis. If these changes lead to an increase cost in your subscription, we will give you reasonable notice before charging you in connection with an automatic renewal.
We will, from time to time, change these Terms of Sale. When we make such changes, we will post these changes on our website.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to any such non-excludable right or remedy, The Futurist NYC (including its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, partners, service providers or affiliates) is not liable to you for any loss or damage incurred by you in connection with your subscription, whether direct, consequential, special, indirect, incidental, reliance or other loss or damage except to the extent such loss or damage is caused by the act or omission of The Futurist NYC. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Futurist NYC's maximum liability to you is limited to the value of the subscription fees paid within the previous twelve months. The Futurist NYC is not willing and not obligated to participate in dispute resolution procedures before bodies responsible for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes. Moreover, You and The Futurist NYC agree that arbitration shall be conducted in individual capacities only and not as a class action or other representative action, and the parties expressly waive their right to file a class action or seek relief on a class basis.
Reliance
You acknowledge and agree to the terms as an essential basis of the agreement between you and The Futurist NYC. By providing your payment method information and clicking the Agree & Continue or similar button as your electronic signature, you confirm that you have read all disclosures, documents and all other communications from us in electronic form including our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
