Vernor Vinge

I will always remember your marvelous mind Vernor Vinge. Thank you for explaining to me, over twenty years ago, the oncoming era of Al, the difference between a soft and hard take off, and that we should expect superhuman intelligent critters running around. RIP Vernor Vinge, the main who coined the technological "singularity." I hope you're having a gin and tonic.
