I’ve collected books all my life, mostly read and typically found inside random shops or laying abandoned on city streets. And even though I have moved too many times, I never left them behind.
I'm surprised to find The Culture of Cities by Lewis Mumford, inscribed by the author, and given to and received by educator Frederick P. Keppel, evident by the included typed letter of acceptance and gratitude by his secretary dated March 21, 1938.
My thoughts tilt toward the future of cities.
